Associate Structural Engineer – Leicester
We’re working with an established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are currently looking to recruit an Associate Structural Engineer to join their Leicester office. You will be part of the Structural Engineering team involved on a wide variety of projects ranging from small domestic or large commercial projects such as residential, schools, churches, offices, listed buildings and design assistant on unique structural designs.
They are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer with a minimum of 8 years’ experience and a proven track record of managing projects and potential development opportunities. You will be expected to develop, supervise and manage a team of enigineers with a view to long-term growth of the office.
Requirements:
- MIStructE qualified with at least 8 years’ experience
- Confident and proactive approach to developing new business
- Experienced carrying out detailed design work on complex engineering projects across multiple sectors
- Design skills in a wide range of materials including concrete, masonry and steel
- Experience with structural appraisal of both commercial and industrial structures, residential dwellings and bridge inspections
- Experienced at managing projects, client expectations and managing of an engineering team
- Ability to develop, supervise and mentor a team of engineers
- Strong IT skills including: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla TEDDS, SCIA, IDEA Static and 3D Max
In Return:
