Multi-disciplinary Architectural and building consultancy in London are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Building Surveyor to join their team working on a range of projects.
You will be based in London with an option of home working when required. You will need to be able to undertake the following responsibilities:
- Project Management - delivery, leading meetings, contractor management, site inspections, budegt
- Contract documentation
- Liaise with external project teams and associated organisations or companies.
Skills required include:
- Detailed knowledge and experience of building construction and contracts, defects diagnosis, condition surveys and reports, feasibility studies and reports, building costs, specification of building works, deisng capabilities, repairs, maintenance, refurbishment, conversion.
- Understanding contractual role under different forms of contract (JCT in particular)
- Contract Administration for project based construction works
- Budget management
- Self motivation and ability to work independently
- Party Wall experience would be desirable.
- Guide and train junior team members
