Award Winning Consultancy with a full open APC support and training scheme are looking for a Building Surveyor to join their London based team.
This role will offer the successful candidate the chance to develop their career within a busy and award winning multi-disciplinary practice, with full APC support and professional development.
Projects will be varied, with a diverse range of clients including developers, property companies, retailers, local authorities, health trusts, universities, schools, and academies.
The Role
You will be responsible for surveys, designs, reports and contract documents as required.
Other responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing small / medium sized projects as appropriate
- Carrying out building surveys, measured surveys and building inspections
- Attending meetings/ presentations where appropriate
- Undertaking on-site or other survey work
- Checking and reviewing documents, drafting reports etc.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, capable and ambitious Building Surveyor who has at least 2 years relevant experience.
You will have a minimum of a BSc in Building Surveying and be able to demonstrate comprehensive experience in general building surveying duties, managing and delivering multi-discipline projects, and also:
- Be working towards and committed to attaining RICS chartered membership
- Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- A logical and practical mind
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Be a team player and self-motivated
- Good presentation and report writing skills
- Full driving licence.
