Client side building Surveyor to join a dedicated management team in North Yorkshire. You will be undertaking the delivery of major projects and supporting the in-house maintenance team. The main purpose of this role is to deliver a wide range of building projects, support the in-house maintenance service and manage statutory compliance.
This will be a mainly office based role but offering some flexibility. You will need to be a creative thinker with a positive can-do attitude to succeed.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of the repair and maintenance of a mixed range of residential, agricultural and commercial properties
- Project Management, design, supervision of contract administration of variably sized refurbishment and alteration projects up to £1m
- It is essential to have excellent communication skills
- You will be responsible for overseeing significant new projects across the estate
- Good financial management and administration is required
- H&S across the estate ensuring compliancy
Essential criteria
- MRICS or MCIOB
- JCT Contracts
- Experience with Listed Buildings and heritage assets
- AutoCAD
- Team Management
