The job
 
We are working in Partnership with a Chartered Surveyors specialising in the reinstatement of properties following major damage and they are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team in the Maidstone region, North London, Bristol and South Midlands. 
 
The responsibilities
 
You will be responsible for the following: 
> Liaising with loss adjusters, assessors and clients to confirm nature and detail of works
> Ensure all parties involved are up to date with progress
> Property inspections and drafting schedule of works
> Insurance assessments and claims
> Discussions with clients over draft specification / final reporting
> Condition Surveys - identification and analysis of defects and proposals for repair
> Contract Administration
> Feasibility studies
> Construction Design and management regulations
> H&S aspects of buildings
 
The requirements
 
You will ideally be a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) but MCIOB will be considered with relevant experience.
Due to the nature of the role and extent of travel you must have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use. 
A high level of IT proficiency is essential with technical knowledge and competence is required along with a proven ability to build long lasting professional relationships with clients and colleagues. 
 
The package
 
The range of salary package that could be offered is £50,000 to £75,000 this includes the company bonus which they pride themselves on paying year on year and they have a great staff retention. 
The offered salary will depending on your level of experience and ability, there is a senior post available for someone with extensive experience in a Senior level and also for someone with 1 or 2 years PQE
