Senior Chartered Building Surveyor / Senior Project Manager in London
If you are looking for a Senior position managing projects in value from £250k to to circa £2-3m with a Building Surveying background keep reading.
This is an opportunity for you to work across both advisory and consultant side of the service provision and the more project driven parts of the business. Some of the projects will include exterior renovation contracts, internal common parts and design work, private refurbishment projects and increasingly major façade remediation schemes.
There is likely to be with a project bias with the expectation that the candidate will be responsible for a number of projects, acting either as the contract administrator or as a lead consultant / project manager. The consultant and advisory work will include core building surveying functions such as
- > defects diagnosis
- > planned maintenance programming
- > landlord and tenant matters
- > reinstatement cost assessments
- > party wall
- > general advice.
Knowledge and experience of the JCT suite of contracts is required and the ability to lead a project team effectively is a prerequisite. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, will be efficient and organised in equal measure and all round high achiever.
