Dynamic and well established Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy with offices throughout the UK looking for a Chartered Commercial Building Surveyor in the Oxfordshire / Berkshire areas.
We are looking to appoint an additional Chartered Building Surveyor due to expansion, who has the ability to use their skills and experience to support the continuing growth of the business.
Primarily, you will be a Building Surveyor looking for a fresh opportunity within a progressive practice who are looking for a role that is flexible and offer flexible working.
Work will include landlord and tenant work, contract administration, reinstatement cost assessments and commercial building surveys. The role is homebased. The area covered will be tailored to your home location, and will be in the region of Oxford, Reading and the South-East of England.
You will join our nationwide, multi-disciplined team and will have support from surveyors and structural engineers with a diverse range of expertise. We offer the option to work closely with clients and get involved with sourcing new business, with potential for mentoring and developing a team if that is something you are interested in.
You will have the ability to clearly demonstrate sound understanding across all traditional Building Surveys on Commercial property.
Knowledge of the residential sector would be advantageous.
There will be a requirement to travel to cover projects for national clients so a willingness to travel with flexibility with a clean driving licence is essential.
To be successful in your application you will ideally match the following requirements :
- At least 2 years professional experience post qualification
- RICS qualified (MRICS or FRICS)
- Commercial property surveying experience
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
With a rising client list this is an urgent requirement and the successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary up to £60k with a generous benefits package to be discussed at interview.
