Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for university leavers to join their comprehensive Trainee/Graduate Programme. This programme is designed to develop future experts in all aspects of the water treatment industry. Over a two-year period, participants will gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as HVCA commissioning, pre-commissioning cleaning, and water treatment engineering. Training will include both internal and external courses, covering essential skills and safety procedures.
Programme Outline:
During the programme, participants will engage in the following training and development areas:
Induction, skills assessment, and certifications (e.g., CSCS test, first aid, confined spaces training, asbestos awareness).
BSRIA Courses: Mechanical building services, commissioning, cooling/heating systems.
CSA Commissioning Specialist Training (Levels 1-3).
Water Hygiene, Legionella Awareness, ACoP L8.
Water system disinfection and chemical training.
Thermostatic Mixing Valves, RPZ Valve Compliance, and more.
MEWPS, PASMA training, first aid at work, SSSTS H&S training.
Foundation Course in water treatment chemistry (WMS)
Thermostatic Mixing Valves (Develop)
MEWPS/PASMA training (HSS)
BSRIA pre commission cleaning training
Management & Maintenance of Pool Systems (Develop)
Management & Control of Closed Systems (WMS)
Cooling & Boiler Water Chemistry (WMS)
IPAF
RPZ Valve, Compliance & Commissioning Testing (Develop RPZ AIM-08-01)
- Year 2:
- Further specialised development in areas such as advanced cooling and boiler water treatment chemistry, managing Legionella risks in cooling tower systems, and more CSA distance learning.
- Additional courses will be tailored based on individual progress and preferences.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- University leaver with an interest in water treatment, engineering, and commissioning.
- A strong desire to learn and develop within the industry.
Salary & Benefits:
Starting Salary 1st Year: £25,000, upon successful completion of the two-year programme your salary will rise to £31,500
