Environmental Reports Team Leader – Brighton

We’re working with a specialist risk management consultancy who provide environmental due diligence and risk assessment services for land and property. As they continue to expand, they are now looking to recruit an Environmental Reports Team Leader to join their team.

The team is based out of Brighton but the role offers flexibility to work from home 2 day per week. The role would suit an Environmental Consultant with experience in quality control of desktop reporting, supporting complex project delivery, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and actively contributing to consultancy delivery and revenue generation.

 

The Role:

The Environmental Reports Team Leader handles the operational management of the desktop delivery team. You will manage, supervise and support the team. You will have a keen understanding of the teams resourcing, capacity and training needs, as well as have a long-term view on team resourcing and direction.

A key part of the role is supporting commercial/consultancy manager with complex projects, operations and decision making.

 

Requirements:

- BSc/BA in Environmental Science or similar discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, Geography or Geology

- Experience as an Environmental Consultant working in the Contaminated Land sector and/or Flood Risk sector with the ability to write and review accurate desktop reports at all levels of complexity

- Previous experience managing a small team

- Associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management

- IEMA accredited Associate Environmental Auditor

- Ability to manage and deliver projects of any complexity to a high standard

- Excellent communication and client facing skills
