We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work early and travel with some overnight stays needed. The work will involve contaminated land desk studies, site investigation planning, execution and reporting, remediation planning and verification reporting, landfill monitoring, CQA and waste consultancy. You will be working as part of a wide specialised team and will have full support.
You will need to work confidently with clients and colleagues, being enthusiastic and have stamina for outdoor working with a willingness to learn and progress.
As part of your responsibilities:
- Preparing desk studies and site investigation reports
- Supervise site investigation works, including trial pitting, windowless drilling and infiltration testing
- Develop testing schedules for physical and chemical parameters
- Implement environmental monitoring programmes
- Maintain strict quality and H&S requirements.
You must have a first degree in Earth Sciences or Environmental Engineering and a full clean driving license as you will be required to travel significant distances using a company vehicle when required.
