Geo-Environmental Engineer - County Durham
Our clients are a well-established Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental Engineering consultancy providing a broad range of design and construction management services to clients across a wide range of market sectors. Due to an increased workload, they are currently looking to recruit a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their County Durham office.
The role will entail the completion of Phase I & II reports, site based investigations, site based monitoring of gas and groundwater, scheduling and interpretation of laboratory chemical and geotechnical analysis. The candidate will be expected to undertake tasks in the day-to-day operation of the office and aid in the development of the business in conjunction with the senior management team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Geo-Environmental position
- BSc or MSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or similar
- Able to demonstrate an understanding and experience of phase I desk studies, site investigations and logging of soil & rocks
- able to prepare contract documentation and specifications for ground investigations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Full UK drivers licence
In Return:
