An opportunity to work alongside a dynamic growing team has arisen in London to service existing instructions and to grow our local and national business. 
Some of the areas you will be working will include building upon and expand the current client base at local and regional level. To promote the various service lines and develop the business and reputation in these key geographical markets.

Specific Duties and Details of Actual Work 

  • To actively assist with undertaking core Building Surveying commissions such as Surveys, Design and Specification, Project Monitoring, Employers Agent, Project Management, Party Wall matters, Dilapidations, Defect Reporting, etc. 
  • To assist in providing professional advice to clients for the use of buildings within both the Private and Public sector. 
  • To forge good working relationships with SW teams in our other offices. 
  • To ensure best practice and compliance with legal requirements is adhered to at all times. 
  • To ensure client care is a priority at all times and that client requests are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
  • To ensure that all work is carried out competently, correctly and within the time required.
  • To ensure quality procedures and records are maintained. 

Qualifications/Experience 

  • Degree qualified and APC applied or part way through.
  • Strong client relationship skills. 
  • Practical understanding of commercial property and building surveying procedures. 
  • Strong verbal & numerical skills and adept at report writing. 
  • A team player with an out-going persona and excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with supervision when necessary. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time and assist the team in meeting deadlines. 
  • Commercial acumen, knowledge of competitors, business strategies.
  • A current, full driving licence is essential.

The role will be based at London office but you will have clients throughout Greater London and the South East region.   

APC support and training will be provided in addition to your own dedicated training and research to pass your assessment. You will have full team support and always be on hand to answer your questions.
