Our client is a leading Water Hygiene and Water Treatment company providing specialist Legionella compliance services to commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and public sector clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit Graduate Water Hygiene Technicians to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a long-term career within the Water Hygiene industry. No previous industry experience is required as full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone who is motivated to learn and develop.
The role is based within an easy commute of London, with work carried out across London and the surrounding areas.
The Role
Following a structured training programme, you will learn to:
- Carry out hot and cold water temperature monitoring
- Collect water samples for Legionella and microbiological analysis
- Complete Cold Water Storage Tank inspections
- Clean and disinfect showerheads and hoses
- Assist with Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) inspections and servicing
- Undertake flushing of little-used outlets
- Assist with chemical dosing and routine water treatment tasks
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works
- Produce accurate electronic service reports and compliance documentation
- Learn to identify water hygiene risks and recommend remedial actions
- Deliver work in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Build strong relationships with clients while delivering excellent customer service
Requirements
- No previous Water Hygiene experience is required
- A qualification in Science, Environmental Science, Engineering or Building Services, or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential
- Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
