Our client is a leading consultancy within the Air and Water Industry. They are currently looking to recruit a Science Graduate to join their team as a Graduate Water System Consultant
Key purpose of Role
To visit a range of different property types to carry out and document water monitoring visits and Legionella risk assessments/ surveys. Flexibility, practical skills and common sense is required as each job is different
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out regular water monitoring at a range of properties in our contract portfolio, which includes; temperature monitoring, tank inspections, sampling, checking of remedial works and completion of inspection forms and a visit report.
- Carrying out in depth site surveys at new properties to us and producing Legionella risk assessment reports and hand drawn schematic drawings of the water systems. This includes compiling a list of suitable remedial works/ providing solution options and assigning appropriate priorities to these works.
- Planning and organising own workload.
- Occasional ventilation system surveys and air quality monitoring (subject to further training).
- Working safely and helping to implement the Health & Safety policy.
- Working to a high standard and helping to ensure a high quality of service is always maintained.
- Communicating any site issues/cancelations to the Field Service Manager.
This will necessitate the following activities, although this is not an exhaustive list:
- Driving to and from work, working at heights and working alone.
- Travelling to and from sites safely with some/ occasional overnight stays.
- Returning reports within the required time frame.
- Other service activity as may be directed by the Service Manager from time to time.
No experience is required for this role as full training will be provided. In return the company offer the following package
