Our client works across a broad spectrum of industries both on projects in the UK and internationally. From the provision of a water softener to a fully integrated turnkey industrial water treatment system the company design, install and service Water Softeners, Demineralisers, RO, Filters, Waste Water Treatment and UV Sterilisers.

They are now recruiting for a Graduate Water Treatment Equipment Engineer that either lives or is willing to relocate near their Somerset office.

This is a graduate position, so no previous experience is required. Ideal degrees would be Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Environmental Engineering.

As a Graduate Water Treatment Equipment Engineer, you will be trained to carry out install and servicing of the following

  • Water Softeners
  • Demineralisers
  • RO
  • Filters
  • Waste Water Treatment
  • UV Sterilisers

Initially your training will be split between the office and shadowing senior engineers. After that the role will be field-based and you will provide service and technical support to prescribed customer sites. You will conduct preventative maintenance on the water treatment plant.

You will act as the local technical consultant providing service and technical support to prescribed customer sites

Essential Requirements:

  • A relevant Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Environmental Engineering or similar degree
  • Full UK Driving Licence
