Our client is a leading provider of environmental and safety services, delivering high-quality water hygiene and compliance solutions across a wide range of sectors. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Lead Plumber / Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team based in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled plumber with water hygiene experience to take on a leading role within a growing business. The role will involve regular travel, including overnight stays, and a mix of independent and team-based working.

Main Duties:

  • Carry out plumbing remedial works in line with SFG20 standards
  • Undertake tank cleaning and chlorination of water systems
  • Perform TMV servicing, including fail-safe testing
  • Conduct calorifier inspections and RPZ valve servicing
  • Complete pipework modifications and dead leg removal
  • Identify faults and communicate findings clearly to clients
  • Produce detailed reports in line with current legislation and best practice
  • Maintain accurate records via digital reporting systems
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Work across various client sites, including safety-critical environments

 

Experience Required:

  • NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing
  • Strong knowledge of Legionella Control (ACOP L8) and HSG274
  • Proven experience in:
  • Plumbing remedials
  • TMV installations and servicing
  • Pipework modifications and dead leg removal
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and produce clear reports
  • Experience working in compliance-focused environments
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
