They are now recruiting for a Lead Small Works Plumber within their Water Hygiene/Water Treatment Division
You’ll need to be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines as your experience working within the Water Hygiene/Water Treatment sector will be fully utilised. You’ll work closely with colleagues on various sites in and around London so if you reside no more than a two-hour commute into London, this would be ideal.
Duties Include:
- Conduct visual inspections of water systems, including water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit
- Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs)
- Carry out chemical dosing of water systems
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold-water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011
Experience Required:
- Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and some plumbing experience
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm for the company and role, and ability to work unsupervised while overcoming challenges
- Confidently discusses technical issues and accurately records detailed engineer’s reports and logbooks
- Capable of physical work (lifting, carrying, climbing) and holds a full UK driving license
Package:
- Basic salary between £28K - £38K, depending on experience,
- 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holiday’s
