Our client is a specialist in legionella risk assessment, water testing, and water safety consultancy, delivering independent, impartial advice to organisations across the UK. Their expertise covers the control and prevention of Legionnaires’ disease, legionella, pseudomonas, and other waterborne pathogens found in man‑made water systems.
They are now seeking an experienced Legionella Consultant to join their growing team in the South East and London
Role Overview
You will provide expert consultancy across a range of water safety and indoor air quality disciplines. Working with a diverse client base, you’ll deliver high‑quality assessments, reports, and compliance documentation that support safe, efficient building operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments across a variety of building types
- Carry out Indoor Air Quality Assessments and produce associated reports
- Complete Cooling System Reports in line with current legislation and guidance
- Produce accurate schematic drawings for water systems
- Audit client logbooks, records, and compliance documentation
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Compliance
- Draft Scopes of Service and Service Agreements for client contracts
- Complete all Risk Assessment documentation to a high technical standard
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in a Science discipline, ideally Environmental Science
- Strong working knowledge of building mechanical services
- Thorough understanding of legislation and guidance relating to water safety and indoor air quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience within the legionella or water hygiene sector
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, authoritative reports
