Our client is an award winning Multi Disciplinary Consultancy working within Environmental and Engineering disciplines. They are now recruiting for a Legionella Consultant to join their team. Ideal candidate will be based around Northamptonshire area to cover work in the area and down to Northern Home Counties
They are looking for an experienced Consultant to join the specialist indoor air and water quality consultancy team, offering a uniquely independent service that helps clients to improve H&S, reduce risk and improve corporate image by delivering risk management and compliance services.
You must be able to combine technical know-how with customer service excellence and be capable of building relationships with clients as well as delivering trusted consultancy services. In return you will have the opportunity to cross train into other Health & Safety services lines, gaining skills and experience within Fire safety, H&S and Asbestos consultancy and developing your career as multi-skilled consultant.
Responsibilities include

Responsibilities include:
Risk assessments and audits of building water systems for the control of legionellosis including auditing of site records
Water hygiene monitoring, including the completion of site logbooks
Produce draft schematic drawings of building water systems for submission to the CAD team.
Produce water hygiene logbooks for domestic water systems.
Conduct risk assessments on various topics, and assist in the maintenance of a risk register
Undertake accident investigations to identify root causes
Prepare comprehensive reports including observations, recommendations and interpretation of laboratory analysis
Be responsible for managing small contracts/projects within division as directed by the area manager
Liaise with project managers and account managers in relation to work under their control
Present and discuss reports with the client as necessary
Candidate Requirements include:
City and Guilds qualification (preferred)
Previous experience working within water/ legionella risk assessments
Understanding of the latest regulations and standards
Technical expertise with a personal approach
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Self-Motivated
