Our client is a specialist Water Company that is now recruiting for a Legionella Manager to be based in an office close to Glasgow. This is an office-based role so might suit someone that has hands on site experience in the Legionella field that is now looking to come off the tools.
Duties Include:
Experience in training and managing a team
Assisting with internal and external training and development (including conducting Legionella Awareness training for Clients)
Provide training to engineers - ACOP L8 and knowledge of HSG274 guidelines and HTM04.01 / BG50 etc
Knowledge of SHTM but HTM
Technical checking of all control documents (including ensuring all Method Statements are up to date and fit for purpose)
Review content in reports and paperwork, addressing any technical shortcomings and identifying any improvements. Findings to be reported back to the technician where required & help/training offered as appropriate
Providing quotations for contract works
Arranging and attending contract review and renewal meetings
Keep up to date and at the forefront of the latest developments in the industry, keeping employees within the business updated.
Candidate Requirements include:
City and Guilds qualification (preferred)
Previous experience working within water/ legionella risk assessments
Knowledge of SHTM but HTM
Previous experience of training and managing junior engineers
Understanding of the latest regulations and standards
Technical expertise with a personal approach
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
