Our client is a leader in the field of Legionella Management and Control. They are now recruiting for a Legionella Remedial Plumber in the Midlands.
Tasks would include but not restricted to:
- Cleaning & Disinfections
- Legionella Remedial Work
- General Plumbing Work
- Tank Replacements
- Water Heater Replacements
- General Servicing Work
- Legionella Risk Assessment (Domestic Housing)
- You may need to assist the PPM team from time to time which may include
- Legionella Temperature Monitoring
- Shower Descaling
- Expansion Vessel Maintenance
- Water Tank Inspections
- Water Sampling
The role is required to cover primarily the Midlands of England but will also involve occasional travel and overnight stays nationwide.
The successful candidate will mainly be allocated to a social housing contract which covers the whole of the Midlands area of England.
Ideally you will have experience in carrying out all HSG274 part 2 PPM tasks as well as water hygiene / legionella related plumbing remedial works.
We would require a minimum of 2 years' experience in the water industry to be accompanied by a recognised plumbing qualification of a minimum level 2.
A qualification in unvented hot water would also be beneficial but this training can be provided for the right candidate.
Travel would be part of this role and could extend outside of the areas mentioned above on occasions.
The role would be based on a 38-hour week.
