Our client is an expanding Water Treatment Company currently recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber ideally based in or around Essex / Kent
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as validating final documents for clients/customers
Providing recommendations for the elimination, reduction and management of risk
Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports
Remedial Plumbing Works mostly off the back of risks calls for plumbing skills
Able to fix issues (tape replacements, dead leg removals, flexi changes and tank/water disinfection/cleans)
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments
NVQ in Plumbing
Will have a good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these
An approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification eg. City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc
A good working knowledge of ACOP L8 & Guidance Documents
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Excellent communication skills
Be fluent in both verbal and written English
Full UK driving license
Salary
£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
