A growing water treatment and compliance provider is looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer in Scotland. This is a dual role combining risk assessing with hands-on water hygiene service delivery across a varied portfolio including healthcare, commercial, industrial, and education sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274
- Produce detailed reports and schematic drawings
- Deliver water hygiene services including temperature monitoring, water sampling, TMV servicing, tank inspections, and cleaning and disinfection
- Conduct water analysis where required and ensure full compliance with current legislation
- Maintain a professional presence on client sites at all times
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Legionella risk assessing and/or water hygiene service delivery
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines#
- Experience working across commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or WMSoc are desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence required.
