Our client is a Water Hygiene Company that is looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor in the Derbyshire region
Experience for the position:
- 3 years minimum - previous experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/Hygiene industry.
- Must have a good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies, and water regulations
- Must have good IT skills and be able to carry out reports on a tablet
- Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
- Monthly temperature testing, water sampling and analysis of information collected.
- Surveying of hot and cold water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
- Making sure customers are compliant with latest legislation including HSG 274, ACOPL8, WRAS , HTM 04-01
- You will need to work independently and be responsible for your own workload
- You will need to be flexible enough to get involved with other aspects of Water Treatment.
- Any cooling tower knowledge or experience is an advantage. The role will involve carrying out weekly cooling tower tests, which will be taught in-house if prior knowledge is not available
The role is home-based and will involve travelling to sites nationally. As a result, a full clean driving license is essential. Travel will vary depending on the location of the works due and will involve overnight stays.
You will ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role. You will have evidence of your previous training and certification.
