Our client is a leader in the field of Legionella Management and Control. They are now recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor in Greater Manchester

The role will cover but not exclusive to conducting Legionella Risk Assessments within Housing properties such as schemes, offices and domestic dwellings in the North West and surrounding areas.

You will report directly to the Contract Manager and be responsible for your own risk assessment programme to be submitted to the Contract Coordinator and approved by the Contract Manager.

Duties Include:

  • Utilising market leading technology
  • Conduct site risk assessment surveys of domestic water systems in accordance with BS8580-1-2019, HSG 274 and ACOP L8.
  • Produce a safe scheme of operation tailored to each water system.
  • Check existing schematics and update / produce new as and when required.
  • Reviewing management process and practices.
  • Other tasks outside of legionella risk assessments may include
  • Conducting PPM visits on other local contracts to assist holidays and absence of other staff which may include.
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Shower descaling
  • Water tank inspections
  • Water sampling
  • Water system cleaning and disinfections

 

Experience Required:

  • An in date Legionella Risk Assessment training certificate.
  • At least 2 years’ experience of conducting Legionella Risk Assessments
  • The ability to manage own workload
  • Excellent organisation
  • Good time keeping
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Good communications skills
  • The ability to communicate and build good working relationships with clients
  • The ability to use android applications to carry out paperless surveys
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • DBS
