Our client is a specialist provider of water hygiene and fire safety compliance services, delivering planned and periodic solutions to a wide range of clients. Their services evolve in line with client needs and most recently have incorporated energy-reducing solutions for hot water systems across the social housing sector and light commercial premises.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team in the Midlands
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and company procedures.
- Survey, inspect, and assess domestic and commercial water systems, identifying potential risks and non-compliances.
- Produce accurate and detailed risk assessment reports, including clear recommendations for remedial actions and control measures.
- Support clients in meeting statutory compliance and best practice requirements.
- Work closely with colleagues and management to deliver efficient, client-focused solutions.
- Assist in identifying and advising on energy-reducing measures linked to hot water systems.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on water hygiene compliance.
- Adhere to all health & safety standards while working across a variety of sites.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor in the water hygiene or building compliance sector.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and guidance (ACoP L8, HSG 274).
- Ability to compile accurate reports and interpret technical information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to client sites.
