Our client is a long‑established specialist in water treatment, water hygiene, and Legionella control. They take a holistic approach to water management, helping organisations control risk, maintain compliance, and ensure safe system operation at all times.
They are now seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team, ideally based in or around Yorkshire
Key Responsibilities
You will play a central role in delivering high‑quality Legionella risk management services to a wide range of clients. Responsibilities include:
- Completing Legionella Risk Assessments across the Midlands in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274
- Supporting clients in understanding their reports and explaining required remedial actions
- Reviewing colleagues’ reports prior to submission to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assisting in the development and training of junior team members
- Delivering Legionella Awareness Training to client teams
- Contributing to ongoing quality assurance processes to maintain LCA accreditation
- Supporting the growth of the Legionella division through input into marketing and service development alongside the Sales & Marketing team
About You
The ideal candidate will already be working as a Legionella Risk Assessor and will bring:
- Proven experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments
- Strong understanding of ACOP L8, HSG274, and water hygiene best practice
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence
