Our client is a leading provider of water hygiene and compliance services, supporting clients across a range of sectors to ensure safe and compliant water systems. They are currently looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team based in Worcestershire / West Midlands
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to play a key role in delivering high-quality risk assessments and supporting the continued growth of the business. The role will involve regular travel and a mix of independent and team-based working.
Main Duties:
- Carry out Legionella risk assessments on a variety of water systems
- Conduct written scheme audits and internal quality checks
- Perform general water hygiene tasks including:
- Flushing outlets
- Temperature monitoring
- Water sampling
- Audit management and planned preventative maintenance programmes
- Ensure all work is completed in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, and BS8580
- Produce clear and accurate reports for clients
Experience Required:
- City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, and BS8580
- Experience working with complex water systems (e.g. softeners, industrial systems, vehicle washes)
- Understanding of written schemes of control and auditing processes
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Good report writing and IT skills (Word, Excel)
- Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance
