They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover Bristol and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of systems while supporting clients in maintaining safe and compliant water systems.
Main Duties:
- Carry out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 (Parts 1–3)
- Conduct detailed system inspections including:
- Temperature profiling
- Flow testing
- Asset evaluation
- Schematic updates
- Identify risks and provide practical, compliance-driven recommendations
- Produce high-quality, audit-ready reports with photographic evidence
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, explaining findings and long-term solutions
- Manage workload across a regional patch, ensuring reports are delivered within SLA timescales
- Work both independently and alongside the Water Hygiene team
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 (Parts 1–3)
- Proven experience producing detailed, compliant reports
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Relevant qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
