An established and well-respected water hygiene company is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to support contracts across the UK, with a primary focus on the North West region.

Job Overview
- The role will involve conducting Legionella Risk Assessments across a range of environments including healthcare, education, public sector buildings, and residential properties.
- You will report directly to the Contract Manager and take ownership of your own workload, ensuring all assessments are completed, submitted, and approved in line with company procedures.
- Travel across the UK will be required, including occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments in line with BS8580-1:2019, HTM04-01, HSG274, and ACoP L8
- Utilise digital reporting systems to complete paperless surveys
- Produce site-specific written schemes and safe systems of work
- Review and update schematic drawings where required
- Assess and review client management processes and compliance procedures
Additional Duties
- Supporting wider business needs may include:
- Temperature monitoring
- Shower cleaning and descaling
- Cold water storage tank inspections
- Water sampling
- System cleaning and disinfection
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments
- Valid Legionella Risk Assessment qualification
- Strong knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation
- Ability to manage own workload and work independently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and client-facing ability
- Experience using digital survey/reporting systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
- Ability to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS check
