Our client, an established and growing Water Hygiene and Legionella Compliance company, is looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover contracts throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.

The Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments across a variety of client sites.
- Key duties will include:
- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold water systems
- Assessing commercial and industrial water systems for potential Legionella risks
- Inspecting Cold Water Storage Tanks, calorifiers, TMVs and associated water systems
- Identifying areas of non-compliance and potential risks
- Producing accurate water system schematics
- Compiling detailed Legionella Risk Assessment reports
- Providing clear recommendations for remedial and compliance works
- Reviewing existing site logbooks and Water Hygiene documentation
- Liaising with clients and site representatives regarding findings
- Providing technical advice on Legionella control and Water Hygiene compliance
- Ensuring assessments are completed in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS 8580
- Completing electronic reports and documentation within agreed timescales
- Managing your own diary and workload across London and surrounding counties
- What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Strong practical knowledge of hot and cold water systems
- Good working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS 8580
- Experience carrying out Risk Assessments across commercial properties
- Ability to produce accurate water system schematics
- Strong technical report-writing skills
- Ability to identify non-compliance and provide appropriate recommendations
- Relevant Legionella Risk Assessment training / qualification
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
