Ideal opportunity for a Building Surveyor who is newly Chartered MRICS/MCIOB who is looking for a small company in a period of growth. This is an ideal time to join the team in a Senior capacity as you will help build the growing client list and in the future train new surveyors who join with the option of equity partnership when the founder looks at taking a step back.
Location and coverage
The work is mainly London and the South East (Kent Surrey, Sussex) as far west as Swindon, South to Southampton, north to Milton Keynes and Northeast to Cambridge and Thetford. You will be homebased so ideally located within this region to avoid unnecessary travel.
The Work
The company provides Building Surveying support to a number of private residential management companies, large housebuilder developers, schools and private individuals/companies focusing on delivery of major project works, preparation and implementation of long-term maintenance programmes, Party Wall matters and Building Pathology.
Most of the current project work is large façade refurbishment works. There is a secure pipeline over the next 5 years from major developers so this role will be very secure. This is in addition to the day to day works with the remaining client base which will grow with additional surveyors.
Qualified Building Surveyor
The Ideal candidate will be MRICS/CIOB qualified with proven experience in core Building Surveying skills and Contract Administration, be capable of working independently and remotely and possess excellent client interface skills.
The role will require you to own your own vehicle and a have a full UK driving license. The role will be a remote working role and not office based.
Salary and benefits
The salary will be offered in the range of £55k and mileage paid at 47p per mile, the company is small enough to add benefits to your requirements within reason so will be openly discussed at interview stage.
