They are now recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber to cover Somerset and Devon areas
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- The role of Water Hygiene Operative is responsible for the site-based delivery of a range of water hygiene related services in accordance with current legislation (ACOP L8).
- The role requires flexibility; you will be responsible for the organisation of your own workloads on a daily basis and you should be able to work efficiently upon your own initiative.
- Site-based delivery of remedial works to hot and cold water systems
- Maintenance of water systems as and when required
- Working to tight deadlines as part of the operational delivery team
- Working alone and as part of a team to meet monthly targets
Candidates will ideally have the following background and experience
- An extensive understanding of domestic Hot and Cold Water Systems, ACOP L8, current Water Regulations and BS6700 is essential
- A formal qualification in plumbing is desirable
- Self-motivation to work efficiently on your own initiative
- A full, clean driving licence
