Our client provides a total water solution for water treatment and water hygiene in Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Environments. They are now recruiting for a Plumber / Water Treatment Engineer in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality and contractual compliance.
- Identify, Develop and maintain relationships in relation to those clients within the geographical patch.
- Work with the scheduling team and operations Supervisor to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Carrying out monitoring and associated tasks in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 as directed by Scheduler / Line Manager
- Carry out Plumbing works as required
- Service, Install and Testing of TMV’s
- Testing and chemical dosing of closed heating/chiller systems
- Completion of all required documentation to ensure compliance with legislation
- Provide support to both customers and colleagues with technical input where required.
- Schedule workload & multi-site visits across diverse geographic locations.
- Carry out Hazard/Risk assessments as required on each individual sites.
- Be confident in being the lead operative on site where works are taking place
- Manage personal workloads to ensure maximum productivity and effective time management
- Discuss any concerns relating to contractual changes required and remediation works including areas of potential noncompliance with Client / Account Managers / Regional Managers
Candidates will have experience in the following
- Previous experience within the Water Treatment Industry
- Level 2 or 3 / Advanced Plumbing qualification, must be able to work on larger sized pipework
- Good knowledge of both Domestic, commercial and Industrial water systems
- Working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (ACoP L8 and HSG274,HTM: 0401, Water Regulations, BS 8580)
- 3 years’ experience within a Water Treatment Service Role
- Vocational training courses relating to water hygiene
- Detailed knowledge on the design of hot and cold-water systems
- BS04 C&G Course
