Our Client is an established Water Treatment Company that provides a wide range of water treatment and hygiene services. They are seeking a Senior Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber based in or Buckinghamshire to cover SE Projects
This role would be suitable for an experienced engineer looking to progress into a senior role or an established senior engineer. You will join an existing team of experience plumbers and technicians and have a sound knowledge of L8 compliance works as well and a plumbing qualification/experience and knowledge of closed systems (chilled and heating system water)
The role requires travel on a daily basis to client sites daily and these are predominantly within the South of England with national travel required as part of the role.
The candidate should be experienced and proficient in the key skills listed so at to ‘hit the ground running’ and open to a new challenge with further career development.
Key Skills
Plumbing qualification and suitable experience to Level 2 (NVQ 2 preferable).
Sound knowledge of all domestic systems and experienced in remediation such as fault diagnosis, dead leg removal, tank installations and all other plumbing remediation.
Sound knowledge of all L8 compliance activities.
Experience of closed system analytical testing and remediation such as dosing (flushing experience desirable).
The ability to mentor and offer guidance / expertise to colleagues as part of a senior role.
The ability to integrate and work as part of an engineering team as well as lone working.
Ability to demonstrate good communication skills as the role will involve reporting to the operations manager and account managers.
