Our client is a specialist Water Treatment Company based in the Midlands that are looking to expand their operations in London.

They are looking for someone with strong  pre-comm chemical cleaning experience that initially will carry out the work but someone that can move in to a Project Managers role as the team grows in London.

 

Pre-Comm Chemical Cleaning Duties Include:

  • Chemical cleaning of building water systems and pre-commission cleaning of pipework systems to BSRIA Guide BG 29/2020
  • Chemical cleaning of existing systems including individual tailored water treatment programmes and chemicals, specific to client’s needs
  • Sampling & Monitoring of closed loop heating and chilled systems including system checks to BSRIA Guides.
  • Side stream filtration and dirt removal of closed-circuit heating and chilled water systems using cyclone separators and side stream filtration
  • Pre-commission chemical cleaning of district heating installations using cyclone separators, side stream filtration techniques and temporary diesel driven pumps to achieve the required flow rates and flushing velocities detailed in the BSRIA Guides
  • Dosing of specialty water treatment chemicals – corrosion inhibitors, cleaning agents, Glycol & a wide range of individually selected biocides

 

Over the next two years the successful candidate will progress in to a Project Managers role

As Manager you will perform or delegate to your team

  • To provide accurate timely management reports
  • To provide project plans, both activity based and financial
  • To provide excellent customer relations and after sales support
  • You will issue RAMS and compile lists of required equipment and chemicals for any given project
  • Liaising with customers
  • Preparing monthly reports
  • Training staff. Identifying any training requirements for yourself or members of your team •
  • Ensuring all jobs are completed to contract requirements, company requirements, H&S requirements and legislative requirements
  • Ensure all plant/kit/clothing/equipment is safe, fit for purpose, in date and meets all legislative, work and H&S requirements.
