Principal Civil Engineer - Hertfordshire
Our clients are an international, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are currently looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to join their Hertfordshire office.
They are ideally looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer to motivate and lead an effective design team, to supervise a range of Civil Engineering Infrastructure designs of varying scales at all stages of a project lifecycle with a variety of projects for clients ranging from small private clients up to major international household names.
Ideally, you will be willing to mentor junior team members through their Chartered Professional Review process as a Supervising or Delegate Engineer (although previous experience of this is not essential). You will also be involved with strategic business planning and resourcing to assist with long-term business growth.
Requirements:
- BEng Civil Engineering degree
- CEng Chartered
- Experience managing a range of Civil Engineering Infrastructure projects
- Experience in flood risk assessments, SuDS and pavement designs
- Strong IT skills including AutoCAD, Micro Drainage and Civil 3D software
- Excellent management and communications skills
