Principal Structural Engineer - Hertfordshire
Our clients are an international, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are currently looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to join their Hertfordshire office.
They are ideally looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE) with extensive post-qualification experience of managing whole design processes and leading an effective building structures team. You must have extensive experience of risk management and identifying solutions, liaising with client and other design consultants, plus experience managing project teams working on large complex steel structures.
Requirements:
- MIStructE/MICE qualified
- BEng/MEng in Structural Engineering
- Extensive post-qualification experience of managing whole design processes and leading a building structures team
- Experience of risk management and identifying solutions
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Experience managing project teams on large complex steel structures
- Expertise in the use of Tekla Structural Designer software is desirable
