Surrey based Chartered Surveyors are growing at a steady pace and looking to increase their team with a Project Manager to oversee domestic projects, cyclical and reactive repairs for block management companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure that each project is completed successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage multiple projects from start to finish, including coordinating with all parties involved, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed timeframe and budget
- Manage subcontractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring that they meet our exacting standards and requirements
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular progress reports to clients, highlighting any potential issues or risks
- Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards
- Oversee maintenance and repair work on buildings & properties managed by the company
The requirements:
- ideally a minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience in a similar environment
- Surrey based
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, building regulations and safety requirements
- Proficient in PM software
- Positive attitude with a get things done approach.
