Ground Investigation Project Manager – West Yorkshire

We’re currently working with a well-established Ground Investigation contractor who are looking for a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join their team based out of their West Yorkshire office.

 

Responsibilities:

- Mentoring Junior /site-based Engineers with the logging of soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2020

- Project Management of site investigation works, including costing, client liaison and procuring materials and sub-contractors, dealing with suppliers and preparation of health and safety documentation.

- Compilation of Desk Studies.

- Factual report writing / compilation

- Training and mentoring of graduate and junior engineers

- Travel and attend internal and external meetings as required

- Adhere to working instructions as specified from internal and external clients

- Conduct internal paperwork as required

- Communicate with internal and external parties

- Conduct training as required

- In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration

 

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing ground investigation contracts from start to finish

- Mentoring / Training of Soil and Rock Logging in accordance with BS5930:2020

- Experience in management of drillers, engineers, and client liaison

- H&S Compliance Experience

- The post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses. These may include but not be limited to, PTS, SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid etc

- Full UK driving licence
