A Specialist Heating Company is recruiting for an Electrician that is extremely driven, skilled, and experienced to join their expanding team in East Anglia;
Your work will include assisting with the growth of the company's Solar segment. Installing and commissioning solar PV systems in residential and business environments. The heat pump and underfloor heating systems will also need to be wired. You will be needed to attend corporate site and technical briefings on all things solar and electrical.
Duties Include:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems
- Install solar PV systems with battery storage for residential and business projects.
- Install electrical components, particularly heat pumps, in heating systems.
- Set up smart/wifi controllers.
- Assist with heat pump servicing and breakdowns
- Electrical schematics and designs must be read and interpreted.- Use electrical troubleshooting to detect and address problems.
- Assist with all solar project site surveys and technical briefings.
Qualifications:
- Domestic heating controls (S/Y Plan) and Solar PV installation experience.
- Experience with heat pump installation/wiring would be desirable but not required (Training would be offered as needed).
- 2330-07 City and Guilds Level 3 (Electrical installations) or equivalent proof of skill set qualification.
- City and Guilds 2382-10 (I.E.E Electrical Regulations, 18th Edition or Equivalent)
- Qualifications for solar PV installation would be desirable.
