Urgent requirement for a RICS Chartered Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing and busy Building & Project Consultancy team in Staffordshire who provides the full spectrum of commercial and residential consultancy advice across a diverse client base of predominantly private sector clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a fun, sociable industry-leading team who despite the pandemic, has been consistently growing their service offering and are starting the year off in a very strong position.

The role will require travel mainly across Staffordshire & Cheshire, however the work does span into the West Midlands and North West of the UK.

Requirements

You will be fully engaged in all aspects of commercial Building Surveying, from inception and negotiating scope of services with Clients, to carrying out the required professional services and delivering the project.

Commercial & Residential Building Surveying services to include;

Due Diligence
Construction Monitoring
Contract Administration
Planned Preventative Maintenance
Dilapidations and Exit Strategy
Fire Insurance Cost Assessments
Party Walls
Acquisition surveys


Other services include:
Expert witness, feasibility studies, service charge advice, approval of tenants' plans, and building pathology investigations.

You will be expected to play an active part in business development, and have a good grasp of commercial and residential Building Surveying, ideally with a number of years of experience in the Core Functions outlined above, with some good experience post qualification.

This is an excellent opportunity to assume more responsibility, obtain experience in managing and supervising junior team members and build direct relationships with clients. We do not pigeonhole our Building Surveyors into working in particular service lines; The Building Surveying team were attracted to the profession because of the diverse and varied work they do, and they do the work that interests them.
