Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant – Essex
We’re currently working with a well-established Environmental and Health & Safety Consultancy who specialise in providing all environmental services, testing, sustainability and analysis requirements for clients throughout the South East.
Due to an increased workload, they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based out of their Head Office in Essex.
Key Deliverables:
- To undertake phased contaminated land studies and provide consultancy advice for all clients.
- Managing ground investigations
- Preparing quotations
- Scheduling / programming monitoring works
- Preparation of engineers logs
- Scheduling the preparation of technical reports
- Arranging chemical analysis
- Preparation of risk assessments
- Review of technical reports
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience within geo-environmental engineering
- A degree in Geology, Earth Science or Environmental Engineering
- Experience managing a team of engineers/consultants
- A thorough understanding of the ground investigation and geo-environmental industry, including knowledge of relevant plant and equipment, standard specifications, various conditions of contract forms, Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation.
- A Strong technical background in the investigation, remediation and validation of contaminated land, site specific risk assessments, CLEA and other risk models, groundwater contamination, landfill gas risk assessments, remediation techniques and waste soil classification.
