Geotechnical Engineer - Berkshire
We're currently working with a well-established contaminated land and remediation company providing specialist consultancy, risk management and contracting services for contaminated land to a wide range of clients throughout the UK. Due to ongoing success, they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team based out of Berkshire.
They are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with at least 7 years' experience to be responsible for the design, delivery and supervision of remediation projects throughout Berkshire and surrounding areas. Duties will include the design and supervision of intrusive site investigations, liaising regularly with clients and subcontractors, advising on remedial options, producing risk assessment reports and business development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Consultancy
- Proven track record in the design and supervision of intrusive site investigations
- Experience in Remediation projects is essential
- Experience in business development is preferred
- Excellent analytical and technical report writing skills
- A degree in Geology, Environmental Science (or similar related subject) is essential
- A post-graduate degree in a relevant geo-environmental subject is preferred
- Full UK drivers licence
