Our Client is an Environmental UKAS accredited inspection body and testing laboratory that offers a range surveying and management services throughout the United Kingdom.
They are looking to recruit a Senior Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to work on a council contract in Somerset
Duties will include:
- To carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and HSG.
- Legionella Risk Assessments of Council properties
- To be an ambassador for the company whilst visiting customer sites.
- To obtain water samples from multiple properties and document these samples in line with company processes.
- Complete and submit all documentation relating to the work carried out in a timely manner.
- Testing, servicing and monitoring of thermostatic mixing valves.
- Showerhead descales
- You will be responsible for booking in own sites
- Flexibility in hours to suit the successful candidate
- This is a Senior role working alongside the manager and in his absence running contracts. There will be a chance to progress in to a Supervisor or Contract Managers role
