Our client is a dynamic and progressive water hygiene organisation that places their team at the heart of everything they do. As part of our continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Senior Water Hygiene Operative to join their Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) team.
This role is primarily based in the Midlands, with occasional national travel and overnight stays to support contracts across the UK. You will report remotely to our Midlands office and play a key role in maintaining compliance and high standards for our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Legionella temperature monitoring
- Showerhead descaling
- Expansion vessel maintenance
- Water tank inspections
- Water sampling
- System cleaning and disinfection
- TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) servicing
- General servicing and maintenance works
- Minor plumbing remedials
- You will be expected to lead on larger works and have experience in running disinfection jobs on different types of domestic water systems in commercial buildings.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 38-hour work week
- Paid travel time outside of site hours
Experience Required
- Minimum of 4 year’s industry experience in a water hygiene or similar role
- A proactive, reliable, and flexible team player
- Willingness to travel occasionally and stay overnight when required
- A full UK driving licence
