We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join this established Water Treatment Company operating from their Kent-based office and covering sites across London and the South East.
This role requires a highly skilled individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently, as well as lead small teams on-site.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the water hygiene / water treatment industry
- Extensive experience working with cooling towers, including:
- Dosing equipment and dosing pump servicing
- Replacing dosing hoses and installing service kits
- Venting pumps and diagnosing system faults
- Strong background in cooling tower water treatment monitoring, including:
- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis
- Adjusting control systems and investigating issues
- Producing detailed client reports with clear findings
- Proven experience in cooling tower and storage tank cleaning & disinfection
- Experience leading small teams (2–3 engineers) on-site
- Basic understanding of closed systems, including:
- Sampling and dual sampling alongside consultants
- Applying remedial dosing where required
- Experience working on domestic water systems, including:
- Automatic dosing units
- Dosing pump servicing and fault finding
Package
- Salary: £38,000 – £42,000
