Structural CAD/Revit Technician – Leeds
Our clients are an established engineering consultancy providing Civil, Structural, Geotechnical Engineering and Building Services consultancy services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking to recruit a Structural CAD/Revit Technician to join their Leeds office.
They are looking for a Structural Technician to deal with an increase in workload and assist in the further development and growth of the team. Responsibilities will include:
- Production of detailed structural drawings and information using AutoCAD and REVIT
- Ensuring company drawing standards are complied with
- Co-ordination of the production and issue of drawings to meet client deadlines
- Ensuring thorough checking and accuracy of your own work
- Liaising with members of the Structural Engineering team
- Site visits/surveys where required to enable the production of drawings
Requirements:
- Ideally 5+ years’ previous experience in a UK based engineering consultancy as a Structural CAD/Revit Technician
- RC detailing experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Full competency in the use of AutoCAD and REVIT
- Good numeracy and computer skills
- Excellent time and management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to liaise with architects and other members of the design team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
In Return:
- £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
