They are now recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager to join their Water Treatment Equipment Division
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving business growth, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored water treatment solutions that make a real difference to our clients’ operations.
Duties Include:
- Drive equipment sales across a range of high-demand water treatment solutions including water softeners, sand filters, reverse osmosis systems, UV units, chemical dosing, and side-stream filtration crafting tailored proposals that solve client challenges while maximising commercial value
- Actively generate new business opportunities, nurture historic accounts, and build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers, ensuring clients see you as a trusted advisor and partner in water treatment solutions
- Work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to provide expert technical guidance, translate complex requirements into practical solutions, and ensure smooth project delivery while exceeding client expectations
- Track sales performance, manage orders and invoicing, and maintain detailed CRM records, pipeline reports, and forecasts to identify trends, optimise strategies, and consistently exceed personal and departmental targets
- Represent the company as a credible industry ambassador at tradeshows, networking events, and exhibitions, sharing insights, building brand awareness, and influencing the strategic direction of the Equipment Department to drive growth and market presence
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the water treatment or equipment sector, with a proven ability to hit and exceed ambitious growth targets
- Strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems and the ability to interpret complex specifications, compliance requirements, and customer needs to deliver tailored, practical, and commercially viable solutions
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and creating compelling proposals that drive results
- Full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel nationally to visit clients, attend events, and support business development initiatives
- Existing relationships within facilities management, healthcare, or commercial property sectors are highly desirable, along with experience in tendering or working with public sector frameworks
Package:
- Basic Salary of £50,000 to £60,000, based on experience
