We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account / Sales Manager to join a growing Sales team within the Water Treatment sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual to manage key client relationships, drive business growth, and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction across an established portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing Water Treatment clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within Water Treatment and Water Hygiene markets
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and client presentations
- Conduct site visits and technical consultations to understand client requirements
- Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure successful service delivery
- Lead client meetings and maintain clear communication on projects, updates, and performance
- Produce reports and analyse sales data using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders including Facilities Managers, Engineers, and Procurement teams
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
Key Requirements
- Proven experience within the Water Treatment industry (essential)
- Strong background in account management and business development
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
- Solid understanding of Legionella control and compliance frameworks such as ACoP L8 and HSG 274
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-focused solutions
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
- Industry certifications in water treatment or Legionella control (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
